Nothing is more perfect than a newborn baby.

I am reminded of this every day when I see our beautiful baby gifts being made and sent to new parents, each accompanied by the most heartfelt messages of congratulations from family and friends. It never ceases to amaze me how much joy a single newborn baby brings into the world.

I love it because it expresses the sentiment of a shared responsibility between parents for the creation and most importantly the nurturing of their child. Nothing would please more than having this message resonate with all the new parents out there.

Silly Phillie® baby blankets, onsies, sleep gowns, bibs, burp pads, and hooded towels will be available with this new design. All will be made in the USA from quality 100% cotton fabrics, both interlock and terry velour.

Layette items will be sold individually and as part of baby gift sets and baby gift baskets. “50% Mommy, 50% Daddy, 100% Perfect” will be offered in three different color schemes: one for a baby boy, one for a baby girl, and the third in a neutral palette to work as a baby shower gift.

The line will be launched initially on www.sillyphillie.com the first or second week in June. Afterwards expect to see the items sold in retail stores, hospital gift shops and on other e-commerce baby boutiques.

Unique Baby Gifts Make a Lasting Impression

The other day a woman named Angelique called to order a baby gift. The gift was for an important business associate at a large pharmaceutical company.

Angelique emphasized that she wanted a unique baby gift that would make a big impression. She specified that It had to be a Welcome Wagon™ baby gift and it had to also include a Silly Phillie® bathrobe. More about the bathrobe later.

After several minutes reviewing options together Angelique decided to order a Personalized Deluxe Welcome Wagon Gift for Baby Boy . We agreed to substitute a bathrobe for the normally included bath bag and I offered to personalized the bathrobe at no additional cost.

You would be surprised how many calls we receive from customers asking us for help with choosing a baby gift. A baby gift after all is purchased infrequently and some people just don’t feel uncomfortable making the decision themselves. My staff and I are always happy to help. The following is a list of things to consider before purchasing your next baby gift:

Make sure your baby gift is gender appropriate. Nothing is more embarrassing than giving a gift that’s intended for the opposite sex. No matter how nice the gift might be, the impact is lost if it has to be returned. When in doubt choose a gender neutral baby gift.
Find out whether the parents setup a baby gift registry. Parents today increasingly use a gift registry to let friends & family know exactly want they need and want for their new baby.
